LCDS is excited to start our work together on the upcoming LCDS 2024 Strategic Plan. The work with People Minded Business – PMB is starting now! The first step to establish our Strategic Plan Advisory Team.
Please join LCDS Board Members, Jill Cousins (Board Chair) and Mike Gilfoyle (Director) and LCDS Senior Leadership Team members, Elizabeth Forman (HR Director) and Nick Salaris (Executive Director) as we look find (1 to 2 of each), people we support, families, and employees to join the Strategic Plan Advisory Team. Please see all the details below.
The Advisory Team’s role is exactly that – to provide advice and feedback on the process, who to talk with, thoughts on themes as they emerge, etc. (this is not a decision-making group). The Advisory team is responsible for helping to direct the project by sharing their insight and guidance with PMB.
Once the Advisory Team is pulled together, the team will:
- participate in a 2-hour Advisory Teamlaunch meeting led by PMB on Thursday, March 28 at 10 am.
- be required to attend a one (1) hour meeting, every 4-6 weeks (after the initial Advisory Team launch meeting) until the project is completed.

Please note that everyone will have the opportunity to engage and give their input into the plan as we work through the process and establish focus group opportunities for all our stakeholders, people we support, families, employees, and supporters.
