Petrolia, ON – June 23, 2025 – Lambton County Developmental Services (LCDS) hosted its 70th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday evening at the LCDS Administration Office in Petrolia. The event brought together board members, staff, community partners, and dignitaries to reflect on a year of growth, gratitude, and continued commitment to inclusive support for people in our community with developmental disabilities.

The evening opened with warm welcomes from Board Chair Jill Cousins and Executive Director Nick Salaris, followed by greetings from Sarnia-Lambton MP Marilyn Gladu, as well as Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) Program Supervisor, Nathalie Grenier.

Key highlights included the presentation and approval of the 2024–2025 Annual Report and the audited financial statements prepared by MNP LLP. The Board also confirmed the reappointment of MNP LLP as auditors for the upcoming year.

A special moment of the evening was recognizing Jane Joris for her many years of dedicated service on our Board and with the organization. Her leadership and advocacy have left a lasting impact on LCDS, and we are deeply grateful for her contributions.

As LCDS looks ahead to a celebratory 70th year of operations, three new board directors—Carrie Bulgin, Brenda Clarke, and David Hogen—were also announced.

The evening concluded with inspiring messages from Board Chair Jill Cousins and Executive Director Nick Salaris, celebrating LCDS’s legacy and looking ahead to a promising 2025-2026.
