LCDS Invites Applications for Supports Director – Seeking a Visionary Leader to Drive Person-Centred Support
Petrolia, ON – January 1, 2026 – Lambton County Developmental Services (LCDS), a leader in fostering inclusive communities for people with developmental disabilities for over seven decades in Lambton County, is announcing an exciting leadership opportunity for a Supports Director as the organization prepares for a significant transition.
After five years of exceptional leadership, Jill Johnston, LCDS Residential Supports Director, will retire in March 2026. Throughout her tenure, Jill has played a pivotal role in advancing person-centred supports and enhancing the quality of services across LCDS’s 23 residential homes. Her vision and dedication have inspired teams, championed innovation, and strengthened services for the people we support. LCDS is deeply grateful for Jill’s unwavering commitment and the lasting legacy she leaves within our organization and community.
As LCDS looks to the future, the organization is seeking a strategic, values-driven leader to join its team and continue building on this strong foundation. The Supports Director will provide visionary leadership for person-directed services, foster growth and accountability, and drive initiatives that enhance inclusion and quality of life for people with developmental disabilities.
