Empowering Cameron, One Smile at a Time

“Cameron and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the LCDS family for quite a few years now and I say family because that’s how they make me feel. It takes a special kind of person to work with someone with a different learning ability and I appreciate them very much. All the staff who have supported Cam have been fantastic. They are kind, patient and accommodating.
The staff know how to read him, and I think they understand his needs and wants. I think the outings are good for him. He has learned to be patient with others, how to communicate more. I am very grateful for the support I get from all the staff at LCDS….
He enjoys the weekend rec activities and spending time with his friends. The support staff are up for anything that Cam wants to do. He likes to bowl, swim, go to district beta or take in a movie… I love seeing his face when he comes home. He’s got a big smile, and he tells me he’s had a good day.
They say a picture is worth 1000 words. Look at those smiles!”
