We’re thrilled to share these inspiring photos of Braedon, a courageous gentleman supported through LCDS’s Host Family Services.
A couple of years ago, Braedon set a personal goal: to overcome his fear of horses. With the support of those closest to him, who happened to own a hobby farm, Braedon began spending time helping with daily chores. This meant being around horses almost every day, slowly building his confidence.
Encouraged by his support network and inspired by friends who shared how much fun horseback riding could be, Braedon expressed a desire to conquer his apprehension and learn to ride.
His journey began with gentle interactions with young foals, always with encouragement and support nearby. And just recently, Braedon took the big step, he saddled up and rode a full-grown horse!
Now fully embracing the cowboy lifestyle, Braedon has even shown off his skills at a local barrel racing competition. His transformation is nothing short of amazing.
