Petrolia, ON – April 24, 2025 – Lambton County Developmental Services (LCDS) is proud to announce the launch of its new logo and website, marking a significant milestone in its 70th year of operation. This refresh is designed to better represent and serve our staff, people supported, and the Lambton County community, aligning with our 2024-27 Strategic Plan to increase inclusivity and community engagement.

“Our LCDS brand is more than just a logo,” said Nick Salaris, LCDS Executive Director. “It reflects how we want people to feel when they interact with the entire LCDS community in Lambton County. The mission, vision, and core values are the building blocks of this refresh.”

The rebranding process began in January 2025, with the collaboration of local marketing agency Campfire Media. Throughout the timeline, both internal and external stakeholders were
consulted to ensure the new brand truly reflects LCDS’s work in the community.

The words “Lambton County Developmental Services” has been added to the logo to emphasize our commitment to community engagement. While green and purple remain, the brand colors have been updated to deeper, richer tones.

LCDS has introduced a new three-petal trillium-like icon to complement its logo. The petals represent the core values of Care, Connection, and Excellence. The icon’s design signifies the
support provided to people with developmental disabilities, the community of staff, volunteers, and families, and the growth and development fostered by LCDS.

Also launching on April 24, LCDS’s new website follows best practices in user experience, ensuring most information is accessible within two clicks from the homepage. Content reflects LCDS’s mission, vision, and core values, with streamlined navigation to prioritize the end user’s experience. We are excited to share the smiling faces and impactful stories of the people who make up the LCDS community.
