We are proud to share that Nick Salaris, Executive Director of LCDS, has been awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award by the Petrolia Rotary Club — the highest recognition Rotary grants.

This honour is presented to both Rotarians and non-Rotarians – like Nick – who have made exceptional contributions to their communities. In Nick’s case, the award recognizes not only his more than 25 years of dedicated leadership at LCDS, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, but also his deep commitment to community service. His annual family golf tournament has raised an impressive $165,000 to support people in need, and he has been a long-time advocate for youth sports and local physician recruitment.

The Paul Harris Fellow Award, named after Rotary’s founder, has symbolized service and excellence since 1957. Nick was surprised with the award on May 13, 2025 during the Petrolia Rotary Club’s 70th Anniversary Banquet, with Dan by his side.
