On Wednesday July 4th, the Petrolia Lions Club and Lambton County Developmental Services (LCDS) held the 2012 Charity Pork BBQ at the Greenwood Recreational Centre in Petrolia. Guests from around the County gathered to enjoy an appetizing assortment of barbequed local pork, potatoes, beans, summer salads, and desserts while relaxing to the musical styling’s of the Borderlite Trio.  Over $3500 in proceeds were raised this year which will be going directly to the Habitat for Humanity/LCDS Petrolia Build Project to pay for their fence.

LCDS would like to recognize the Petrolia Lions for their hard work and dedication to LCDS and Bob Tanner for his lead role in organizing this event.  If it were not for their generous offer and commitment to partner with LCDS, the Pork Barbeque would not have been possible! Thank you to all of our generous sponsors, volunteers and everyone who attended; we look forward to seeing everyone at the 2013 Barbeque!

A huge thank you to our Petrolia Lions!!
